Visiting Yoga Instructor Marcea R. Patterson will be hosting a full day of Yoga instruction on the 18th of August. Amongst the current Ghana Awareness/ African Heritage exhibit, it should enlighten unlike no other!
Classes will be from: 9:30am-10:45am, 4:00pm-5:15pm, and 5:30pm-6:30pm.

Marcea is a native of Hartford Connecticut. She has been a public school math and science teacher in both urban and suburban settings for more than 12 years almost exclusively at the middle school level. She has recently completed yoga teacher certification at West Hartford Yoga. She has specialized training in Yoga Ed Tools for teachers as well as Yin and Yang yoga. Marcea has become known as not only a teacher and healthcare professional but artist, writer and spiritual advisor.
The one common element in all of her walks in personal and professional growth is a commitment to public service and promoting the growth of others. Currently Marcea offers periodic free yoga courses in the Hartford region.
