I wanted to let all of you know about a new film that is coming out soon in a theater near you. It is called "Rachel Getting Married" and is directed by the legendary Jonathan Demme and is written by first time writer Jenny Lumet (Yup, Sidney's daughter). The film stars the porcelain Anne Hathaway, the heartwarming Debra Winger, and one of the most talented character actors on both stage and screen Bill Irwin. Also starring is Rosemarie Dewitt and Pretty Dead Flowers' Beau Sia who is re teaming with Demme for the second time. This should be a refreshing change from the usual box office fodder. This is a tender tale with a spectacular ensemble cast and shot on glorious HD in a very docudrama (or as it was once called, Cinema Verite) nature. Please support good cinema and go and see this film.

For the real Cinephile's out there please rent and watch the Boogie Nights DVD with the commentary track by Writer/Director P.T. Anderson. His kinship with Demme and the insight he lends is nonparallel. Again folks, get drunk off good cinema.
